What this site is
gyminstallationservices.equipment is a catalogue of equipment held or available to order by Gym Installation Services Ltd. It is not a shop. There is no basket, no checkout and no way to buy anything on the site.
Nothing here is an offer
Listings are an invitation to enquire. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a quotation, or a contract. A contract exists only when we have quoted for your job in writing and you have accepted that quotation.
Prices
No prices appear on this site. Price depends on the item, the delivery address, the access, and what installation the job needs. Ring or email with the item number and we will price your job. Every written quotation states the total price, including any VAT, delivery and installation.
Availability
Stock moves. An item listed as available may sell before you contact us. We update the site by hand and there may be a gap between an item selling and the listing changing. Availability is confirmed when we reply to you, not by the page.
Descriptions and photographs
Photographs are of the actual item unless the listing says otherwise. Used equipment shows wear, and the photos show it. We take care to describe items accurately, but small differences in specification, colour and fittings are possible on used commercial equipment. Weight plates, bars and other loose items in a photo are not included unless the listing says so.
What each condition means

| Refurbished | Stripped, serviced, worn parts replaced and tested before sale. |
| Used - good | Fully working, with normal wear for its age such as scuffs, light marks on paint and creasing on upholstery. No structural damage and nothing missing that affects use. |
| Used - functional | Fully working and safe to use, with obvious cosmetic wear such as chipped paint, surface rust, or worn or split upholstery. The wear is shown in the photos and described in the listing. |
Safety checks on used equipment
Before any used, ex-demo or refurbished machine is handed over, we check it for safe use: frame and welds, fixings and pins, cables, pulleys and belts, guards, pads and adjusters. Anything that fails is repaired or replaced first, or the machine is not sold. We record the check against the item number and can give you a copy.
Your right to cancel
If you buy as a consumer and the contract is agreed by phone, by email, or anywhere other than our business premises, including at your home, you can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.
- Where you are buying equipment, with or without installation, the 14 days run from the day after the equipment is delivered to you. For a contract for installation or other work only, they run from the day after the contract is made.
- To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email, phone or letter. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
- We refund everything you have paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of getting the equipment back, or of you showing us you have sent it back if that is sooner. If nothing has been delivered yet, within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling. We refund by the same method you paid.
- Gym equipment cannot go back by post. If you cancel after delivery, you must return the equipment or let us collect it within 14 days, and you pay the direct cost of return or collection. Your quotation gives an estimate of that cost.
- If you ask us to start installation or other work before the 14 days end, and then cancel, you pay for the work done up to the time you tell us.
- We can reduce the refund for any loss in value caused by handling the equipment more than you would need to in order to inspect it.
If you are buying for a business, the right to cancel above does not apply, and your quotation sets out the terms.

Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Where you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies: what you buy must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. For used equipment, satisfactory quality takes account of its age and condition, and of any faults we pointed out before you bought it.
Item numbers
Every item carries a number in the form GI-0000. Numbers are allocated once and are not reused. Quote it when you get in touch.

Law and courts
These terms, and any contract we make with you, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the consumer protection law where you live still applies to you.
